Venessa sings Bass and has been a member of Sweet Adelines on and off for about 10 years as she moved around the state. She was a member of Avon Valley Harmony in Northam, Western Australia and also Kanyana Chorus in Mandurah, south of Perth. Once she got back to Perth she looked around for a Chorus to join. ACW happened to start up at the right time and due to a series of happy accidents, she ended up on the management team.
Although new to management teams in Sweet Adelines, she has been on various executive committees in the past for other organisations. Although firmly convinced Sweet Adelines is the most fun you can have with your clothes on, she also values the friendships and learning opportunities which abound in the organisation for those who want to pursue it.
